Another snowy day

Mmmm....another snowy day in the Poconos! Kids and the hubby are home.
I love days like this. We have a late breakfast and then we talk and reminisce on past snowy days. Later on the boys will get ready to go out-side and play in the snow. I go out too, but just to watch and take pictures. My husband is the biggest kid of all. He looks like a big Walrus sliding down our front hill. Lol. Then we'll have lunch, and watch a movie. This a always a fun time for us!

I don't get any painting done, buts that ok with me 'cause it's day like these that we will always remember. As my son Max would say "Good times, good times" : )

Happy Three Kings Day! Feliz Dia de Los Reyes! In Latin American Countries we celebrate "El Dia De Los Reyes" - Three Kings Day. This was the day that 3 kings visited baby Jesus after his birth and brought him presents. Traditionally this was our so call "Christmas Day" to give children gifts.

Asthma & Allergy Foundation

The Asthma & Allergy Foundation-St. Louis Chapter, is holding an Orchid Ball fundraiser to help provide asthma & allergy medications to children who cannot afford their prescription. They contacted me and asked me to donate one of my paints for their silent auction. In honor of my sister Jessica, I will donate my painting "Orchids Up close". My sister has been battling asthma all her life, and some of my friends and other family members. Some of us are bless to not be affected by asthma or allergy. You can help AAFA in many ways.
